Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive growth and innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to assess and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of turning selected opportunities into profitable businesses.
  • Build and maintain a broad network of contacts in key markets to leverage trust and drive business development.
  • Strengthen the company's strategic marketing and business development competencies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on growth strategies and market opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of new business initiatives and their impact on company performance.
Profile:
  • University degree in a technical field and MBA (or equivalent); 6σ certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 5-10 years in product development, B2B marketing, and business development roles.
  • Curiosity, agility, and comfort in exploring unknown areas.
  • Genuine interest in customers and what makes them successful.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and developing business cases.
