Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Operations Manager to optimize our sales performance through comprehensive planning, monitoring, and analysis. This role is crucial in driving sales efficiency and effectiveness across our organization. This is a high impact role and will require you work in close collaboration with sales leadership to develop motivating compensation structures, establish incentive programs, and create a robust framework for sales performance management.
Key Responsibilities and Functions:
- Sales enablement: creating and maintaining a comprehensive sales playbook that supports the entire sales ecosystem, developing robust onboarding programs, providing ongoing training, and equipping sales teams with the necessary tools, content, and competitive intelligence to effectively prospect, pitch, and close deals across existing and new customer segments.
- CRM administration and maintenance: ensuring accurate data capture, workflow automation, and performance tracking.
- KPI tracking & forecasting: Implementing dashboards to monitor key performance indicators, documenting processes, delivering training programs, and facilitating regular sales pipeline and forecast reviews.
- Sales process & analysis: orchestrating deal approval processes, tracking performance metrics across multiple dimensions, conducting win/loss analyses, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Competitor analysis: Creating comprehensive learning materials that enhance sales team performance, product knowledge, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced certification in Sales Operations is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in Sales related Finance position, Sales Enablement, or a similar role within a fast-paced environment (e.g., SaaS, tech, or other high-growth industries) preferably in the Banking/ FinTech industry.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing sales strategies, forecasting processes, and sales enablement initiatives.
- Skilled at creating sales playbooks and designing and executing onboarding and continuous training programs for sales teams.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems.
- Familiarity with sales analytics platforms and BI tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs and driving insights from data.
- Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for modeling, analysis, and reporting.
- Expertise in territory carving, quota setting, and incentive planning.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Highly collaborative, with a knack for building trust and strong working relationships across teams.
