Commercial Excellence Manager – Fixed-Term 2 Years
Location: Männedorf, Zurich
Your Contribution
Your main responsibility will be to maintain and enhance key commercial processes and the working methods in the commercial organization. This involves enhancing sales processes and funnel management standard work to promote excellence in commercial execution. You will collaborate with regional leaders to implement and train the organization on newly established expectations, conduct workshops to enhance key commercial processes, and oversee global commercial expectations related to CRM usage and compliance. Additionally, you will oversee the development and reporting of key commercial leading and lagging indicators.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and lead all aspects of commercial excellence in close partnership with the Head of Commercial Excellence and the Head of CRM & Sales Tools
- Develop and execute strategies and standard procedures to identify, target, and convert new customers, and increase share of wallet from existing customers by working closely with global and regional marketing and sales leadership, as well as facilitating process improvement workshops in the regions
- Monitor, evaluate, and report key commercial KPIs to the LSB senior leadership team
- Supervise the CRM tool and lead continuous improvement initiatives concerning CRM usage, compliance, configuration, and customization
- Manage/support other sales tools (e.g., CPQ) as needed
Your Background
We are not merely seeking hard skills: We are searching for individuals who bring their passion and talent to the job.
- BA or BS (MBA degree is advantageous) in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of extensive commercial excellence experience and functional skills (sales expertise is beneficial) in the Life Sciences industry (or similar sectors) or in Consulting
- Proficient in English (reading and writing), knowledge of German & any other language is a plus
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 or S4, SAP C4C, Datasphere, Business warehouse
- Advanced user of Excel
- Business acumen and understanding of commercial aspects
