Commercial excellence manager – fixed-term 2 years

 

Männedorf, Zurich

 

Your contribution

Your primary responsibility will be to sustain and continuously improve key commercial processes and the way of working in the commercial organization. This includes improving sales processes and funnel management standard work to drive excellence in commercial execution. You will work closely with regional leaders to execute and train the organization on newly created expectations, facilitate workshops to improve key commercial processes, and manage global commercial expectations around CRM usage and compliance. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and reporting key commercial leading and lagging indicators.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Define and lead all aspects of commercial excellence in close collaboration with the Head of Commercial Excellence and Head of CRM & Sales Tools
  • Develop and implement strategies and standard ways of working to identify, target, and convert new customers and increase share of wallet from existing customers in collaboration with global and regional marketing and sales leadership - Facilitate and run process improvement workshops in the regions
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report key commercial KPIs to the LSB senior leadership team
  • Oversee the CRM tool and lead continuous improvement efforts of CRM usage, compliance, configuration, and customization
  • Manage/support other sales tools (e.g., CPQ) as required

Your background

  • BA or BS (MBA degree a plus) in Economics, Business Administration, or similar
  • 5+ years of deep commercial excellence experience and functional skills (sales experience is an advantage) in the Life Sciences industry (or related fields) and/or in Consulting
  • Excellent English reading and writing skills, German & any other language is a plus
  • Familiar with SAP R/3 or S4, SAP C4C, Datasphere, Business warehouse
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Business acumen and knowledge of commercial aspects.
