THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Legal Counsel or Compliance Specialist to support the Regulatory Compliance Team of an international financial institution in Switzerland in analyzing and implementing the Financial Market Infrastructure Act (FINFRAG). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in interpreting complex regulatory requirements, advising on legal and compliance matters related to FINFRAG, and ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expert legal analysis and interpretation of FINFRAG.Assist the Regulatory Change Team in implementing regulatory changes within the organization, ensuring compliance with FINFRAG requirements.Offer guidance on legal and compliance issues related to regulatory changes, including risk assessments and impact analyses.Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and policies to ensure compliance with FINFRAG.Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and business teams, to ensure a smooth implementation process.Conduct training sessions and provide updates on regulatory developments to relevant teams within the organization.

 YOUR PROFILE
Possess a law degree with specialization or experience in financial regulation, particularly in relation to Swiss and European financial market lawsMinimum of 5 years' experience in a legal counsel roleKnowledge of FINFRAG and its implications, with a strong focus on Article 39Excellent legal drafting skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectivelyFluent in English and German, both written and verbalHOW TO APPLY
