THE ROLE

We are seeking a Swiss-qualified Corporate Legal Counsel for a global financial services company based in Switzerland. The successful candidate will provide legal advice on Swiss corporate law and market listing rules. The role will also involve supporting sustainability initiatives, navigating ESG regulatory requirements, and addressing corporate governance matters. Fluency in English and German is essential for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide legal counsel on Swiss corporate law Advise on corporate legal obligations related to market listing rules and develop policies to manage ESG-related legal risksCollaborate with Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, and business units to ensure alignment with ESG objectives and compliance requirementsAssist in the development of group-wide ESG reporting frameworks and deliver training on ESG-related legal mattersIdentify and manage legal risks in multi-jurisdictional contexts, offering strategic guidance to business units

 YOUR PROFILE
Law degree, with qualification to practice in SwitzerlandExperience in ESG and sustainability legal practice, ideally gained in a law firm or international financial institutionKnowledge of EU, Swiss, and international ESG legal frameworks and corporate reporting standardsDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsAbility to work effectively within diverse, multi-functional, and multicultural teamsFluent in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsHOW TO APPLY
