Legal Counsel – Asset Management

Location: Zurich
For a financial institution, we are seeking an experienced legal counsel to advise on legal matters related to the launching of fund products within the alternative fund space.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Head of Legal to support daily tasks related to legal and compliance management of the group
- Advise on the development of solutions, drafting of offering documentation, contract negotiation, and regulatory submissions for funds and investment vehicles domiciled in Luxembourg
- Advise on relevant regulatory frameworks including MiFID
- Coordinate and instruct outside legal counsel
- Minimum 5 years' experience in asset management, either in-house or in private practice
- Strong technical knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to alternative fund structures and investment vehicles domiciled in Luxembourg
- Excellent drafting skills, communication skills and attention to detail is essential
- Must be highly organized and efficient with the ability to drive projects and deliver against set timelines
- Common or Civil law qualified
- Fluency in English both written and verbal. German language proficiency is beneficial.
