Legal Counsel – Investment Fund Transactions

Location: Zürich, Switzerland

For a boutique international asset manager, we are seeking a mid-level legal counsel to advise on legal and compliance matters related to the group's daily business activities during a period of growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Head of Legal and team members to support daily tasks related to legal and compliance management of the group
  • Advise on the development of solutions, reviewing offering documentation, contract negotiation, and regulatory issues impacting funds and investment vehicles domiciled in Luxembourg
  • Manage corporate secretary duties relating to the asset management group's entities
  • Liaise with outside counsel
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in asset management either in-house or in private practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to structured products and investment vehicles domiciled in Luxembourg
  • Excellent drafting skills, communication skills and attention to detail is essential
  • Must be highly organized and efficient with the ability to drive projects and deliver against set timelines
  • Common or Civil law qualified
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal. German language proficiency is beneficial
