THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a Multinational Automotive Company in Switzerland. The Senior Legal Counsel will support complex commercial operations across the European region, with a strong focus on vehicle sales, distribution agreements, procurement, and automotive financing partnerships. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with both business and legal stakeholders to provide strategic, solution-oriented advice. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts related to vehicle sales and distribution across the European region.Provide legal support on partnership agreements with automotive financing institutions, including the structuring and documentation of consumer loan programs.Oversee procurement contracts for internal services, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable European regulations.Act as a strategic advisor to internal business teams, providing pragmatic, solution-oriented legal guidance in a cross-border context.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions to support regional operations and initiatives.Monitor legal developments across Europe that may impact commercial activities and advise accordingly.YOUR PROFILE
Qualified legal professional with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a combination of law firm and in-house exposure.Strong background in commercial contract law and cross-border legal matters within Europe.Previous experience as in-house counsel in the automotive industry is highly preferred.Demonstrated understanding of automotive distribution networks, financing partnerships, and procurement processes.Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset but not required.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both legal and commercial stakeholders.Independent, business-minded, and capable of operating within a fast-paced, international environment.HOW TO APPLY
