Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search are working with an asset management company that is looking to hire a legal counsel to join its team in Zurich.
**Key Responsibilities / Tasks**
- Responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts relating to the sale and distribution of investment funds (UCITS and AIF).
- Analyse the legal and regulatory requirements relating to the sale and distribution of investment funds in multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise the sales team and stakeholders on legal and regulatory requirements/developments, including providing training sessions.
- Liaising with the regulatory/supervisory authorities and external counsel.
- Reports into the Head of Legal.
**Key Qualifications / Experience**
- Minimum of 1.5 years legal and compliance experience in the funds industry.
- Successfully completed Swiss law degree, an LL.M. would be advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills in English and German.
- Ambitious, collaborative, and excellent commercial understanding.
- Based in Zurich
