In this role you will be responsible to enable the development of engaged, capable and high performing workforce, in alignment with the strategic direction and external market trends, to ensure ABB is continuously prepared to drive the future of IS. You will also be responsible to provide development directions, frameworks and guidance to facilitate high performance and help IS People unleash their potential.

Global IS Department Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provides transparency around IS workforce, to enable informed decision making, related to IS strategic workforce planning and development.
- Provides transparency and direction on top talents development. Enables centrally driven learning & development programs, such as coaching, mentoring, job rotation, to support developing future IS Leaders.
- Provides framework and direction on building high-performing teams.
- In close collaboration with HR Function, develops and controls the learning & development strategy for the IS organization, ensuring the needs of the organization are met at a strategic and tactical level.
- Determines organizational development needs in line with business needs and strategic direction. Monitors progress and evaluates business benefits achieved from continual professional development.
- Develops and monitors compliance with a minimum functional curriculum.
- Leads all aspects of organizational change management to enable new structures, processes, and behaviors, following any strategic IS initiatives.
- Oversees and drives the development of common IS culture, behaviors, knowledge, and standards (i.e. customer-centricity).
- Oversees IS people development needs on the organizational level, leading central training and development initiatives and enabling global training solutions.
- Provides workforce analytics regularly and upon request.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields (Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Psychology, etc.)
- Above 3 years of line management
- Above 3 years of ABB IS experience needed
- At least 3 years of experience in the HR-related area: Learning & Development, Recruitment, Competency Development or other
- Strong knowledge of ABB HR processes, frameworks and strategic workforce planning
- Personal leadership and team leadership
- Teamwork and collaboration
- People development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer and consumer centricity demonstrated in behaviors and attitudes in every interaction with internal or external customers
- Good understanding of strategy and implications
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders within the different levels of the organization
- Passionate and empathetic about people-related topics
- Vast experience working in a global environment demonstrating a global mindset
- Ability to bring an outside-in perspective to the organization, impacting the continuous improvement in services delivered
