Who you are As a Logistics Manager, you will be a member of the store’s management team and thus an active partner in the development of its business agenda. You will be accountable for overall product availability, logistics and service operations quality and costs. You will lead inspire the logistics team to secure goods availability, efficient goods flow processes and logistics competence. - You have experience in the logistics or supply chain sector and are comfortable working in a warehouse environment. - You are an experienced manager, have a strong team orientation and know how to motivate and develop your employees. - You are forward-looking and willing to drive change, you give constructive feedback, can influence others and are always open for new ideas. - Your clear communication and coaching skills distinguish you. - You are flexible and willing to work shifts (early and late) and Saturdays. - Fluent communication, negotiation and influencing skills - both in French and in English. - Quality is important to you and you look forward to living our IKEA values every day. **Responsibilities**: - Leading the store’s logistics department with the aim to secure the highest goods availability for customers at the lowest possible cost. - Keeping an overview of the daily business operation in the warehouse and ensuring that tasks are carried out with the customer satisfaction in mind. - Leading and developing the logistics team in an inspiring way. - Actively participating in the development of the store’s business plan and driving the logistics agenda to secure short-/mid-/ and long-term logistics capacity in line with the commercial direction and changing customer behaviors. - Monitoring compliance with all internal and external safety regulations and acting as a role model and motivator. - Positioning IKEA retailers and the IKEA Brand as responsible partners committed to lowering environmental impact by taking relevant actions that contribute towards achieving sustainable long-term profitability.
