Who you are As Checkout Services Manager, you and your team will be responsible for ensuring that our customers enjoy a smooth checkout and payment process. This includes ensuring fast, easy and user-friendly checkout, a cost-effective payment process and reliable, efficient payment processing. Your team will be one of IKEA's last points of contact for many customers, and therefore plays a vital role in creating a memorable shopping experience. - You demonstrate inspiring leadership through your strong social and communication skills, and approach others in an open and proactive manner. - You have several years' professional experience in customer service and have already successfully led a team. - You have an affinity for numbers, are cost-conscious and have excellent negotiating skills. - You enjoy answering questions and finding solutions to problems. - You work well independently, enjoy making decisions and are able to implement solutions quickly and efficiently. - Your attention to detail, precision and structured way of working enable you to keep an overview of multiple tasks and responsibilities. - You are a strong communicator and speak and write in French, English fluently, and preferably German. It is important that you are flexible in terms of working hours. Early or late shifts within our opening hours and Saturday assignments will be part of your working schedule. **Your responsibilities** - Lead, motivate and develop your team of customer service associates in an inspiring way. - Drive a customer-centric culture and live the IKEA values every day. - Implement global solutions, services and tools that promote a fast and comfortable checkout, as well as a safe and secure working environment. - Ensure smooth operations at the front to create a user-friendly, efficient and cost-effective execution of the checkout and checkout process. - Analyze key performance indicators related to financial and customer aspects and act with relevant stakeholders to focus on root causes of customer dissatisfaction and key cost drivers. - Maintain relationships with external and internal partners, such as the cash-in-transit company.
