Who you are As a team leader, you will lead a team in an inspiring way and be responsible for creating an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers and generating sales and profitability results in your department. - You have experience in leading, motivating and developing a team to achieve excellent results. - You have a passion for sales, take initiative, are results-oriented and have a strong customer focus. - You know how to boost sales performance in a retail environment by continually optimizing and managing your sales floor. - You are a proactive decision-maker with strong analytical and prioritization skills. - You are open to change and highly flexible. - You are fluent in French and communicate well in English, with German preferred. It is important that you are flexible in terms of working hours. Early or late shifts within our opening hours and Saturday assignments will be part of your working schedule. **Your responsibilities** - Assume responsibility for your department's sales objectives, align with national priorities and ensure their implementation in your action plan and sales area. - Direct sales of your department's best-selling products, priority products (e.g. overstock) and IKEA service products to maximize sales and long-term profitability. - Ensure that your department is in excellent condition, fully stocked and that the IKEA product range is presented in a way that inspires customers. - Understand and make the best use of the various IKEA sales and communication channels to reach customers. - Develop and coach your team and its individual members. - Manage your team and staff scheduling to ensure that there are enough staff in your sales area to be available to serve our customers and actively help them with their purchases. - Promote IKEA's social and environmental commitment and work with your team to understand how, together, you can contribute to sustainable development.
