**Head Accounting & Tax** **Contact**:Francesca De Chirico **Start Date: ASAP** **Duration**:6** months **with possibility of further contract extension** **Location**:Zürich** **Workload percentage**:100%** **Key Responsibilities**: - You will be responsible for the accounting of a Swiss operational entity (> 500 FTE, turnover > CHF 500mio) with the support of our accounting hub composed by 11 accountants working over several company's entities. - You will report directly to the Head of SPS Finance Operations and to the CFO of the Swiss entity, both located in Luxembourg. - You supervise the quality of general accounting entries, reconciliations, controls and backups. - You supervise the billing team for the Swiss entity and the technical accounting team for all the SIX Payment Services entities. - You ensure the proper month end closing process (deadline, quality). - You lead and development of people involved in the accounting of the Swiss entity. - You prepare internal & external reporting. - You ensure the Swiss Tax and Legal/regulatory compliance in cooperation with Swiss local advisors. **Your Skills**: - Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. - At least 7 years' experience in a similar role in corporate Finance and in an international environment. - Knowledge of Swiss Gaap is an asset, excellent IFRS and SAP experience are required. - Ability to work on his/her own initiative, he/she will be able to work under pressure with very tight deadlines. Always looking to improve current processes. - Flexible and open minded with an excellent presentation and communication skills. - Fluent in English is mandatory, French and German would be considered as an asset.
