- Our global quality & regulatory organization continues its journey to come together into one cross-functional, collaborative operating unit to employ the full breadth of our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to address the needs of customers and patients across the globe.- In this role you will be responsible for technical guidance and quality compliance for supplier engagement throughout the lifecycle of product development. You will define processes and implement strategies for driving product quality and continuous improvement, ensuring purchased products and components are manufactured and qualified in accordance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.**Your tasks**
- Establish implement and continuously improve processes for purchasing and supplier selection, monitoring and evaluation in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide Supplier Quality Engineering support to New Product Introduction, R&D and Post-Launch Engineering project teams to deliver quality parts and services to ensure Sonova provides customers with the highest quality, reliable parts
- Qualify suppliers in accordance with criteria for supplier selection, approved supplier list requirements and supplier quality agreements
- Work with corporate procurement to manage regular supplier performance monitoring and preparing supplier related metrics for periodic review and as well to establish, implement and continuously improve processes for purchasing and supplier selection, monitoring and evaluation in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Perform supplier audits (QS and process audits) as Subject Matter Expert to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met. This includes audit planning, leading audit execution, audit reporting and follow-up on findings with suppliers
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on supplier quality functions during internal audits and regulatory audits / inspections
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, implement, train and promote awareness of the importance of quality in all aspects of the organization

**Your profile**
- University degree in a science field like Engineering or Chemistry
- 5+ years’ experience in quality management for medical devices or in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Good command with technical and conceptual aptitude to analyze data in various quality and ERP system.
- Knowledge of statistical process control is a big plus
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills which are necessary to gain support, particularly across interdepartmental lines
- Willingness for approx. 30% travel activity
- Fluent in written and spoken English, excellent German
