Accounting and Compliance Professional

**The Position**

The primary focus of this role is to support accounting processes for two group companies in cooperation with our shared service centre located in Bangalore (India), and ensure financial compliance by maintaining and executing internal controls as defined in the internal control system. In addition, this role will be participating in internal and external audits, preparing documentation, answering questions, and ensuring financial compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Other accountabilities would include:

- Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing as per IFRS and Swiss GAAP
- Preparation of reconciliations of financial accounts
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for two Swiss entities
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in the maintenance of the internal control system
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns for NNHCAG in cooperation with external service provider

The Accounting and Compliance Professional reports to the Senior Finance Director and will join a diverse team of passionate and likeminded professionals.

**Qualifications**

In addition:

- SAP R/3 experience with modules FI/CO preferred
- Knowledge of Swiss Commercial Code and Swiss tax legislation and IFRS knowledge
- First-hand experience with internal control systems as well as financial accounting and reporting
- Bachelor in accounting or related field or Apprenticeship and “Eidgen. Fachausweis” = Swiss certified specialist for finance and accounting (vocational / advanced studies in accounting)
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
