Our center of competence in traction has an important position in the market. We develop and produce traction converters and energy storage systems for locomotives, high speed trains, trams, metros and busses. To strengthen our Traction Competence Center in Turgi, we are looking for a passionate personality with talent for leading a Control SW engineering team. In this role, you will lead 12 engineers with expert knowledge in railway technology. If you have a keen interest in leading a team of experts, promote and demand individuals and helping to shape the leadership culture, this is your chance.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Be the leader and entrepreneur of a control SW team
- Teach, coach and mentor your team to enable them for taking responsibility for the right quality, time and cost
- Lead and/or support selected customer projects
- Identify and drive continues improvements with your team and the department
- Collaborate with other control SW teams and community members in Engineering and R&D to drive processes and technologies in the same direction
- Offer an “easy to work with” organization towards partners and customers (internal and external)

**Your background**:
- Endurance and assertiveness to grow and enable a team
- Communications skills to solve complex challenges (organizational and technical)
- First Leadership experience (for e.g. as a project leader)
- Experience in innovative drive technology, ideally in moving trains and other vehicles
- English and German communication skills to motivate your team and satisfy our customers
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with focus on control SW
