Product Manager, Merchant Risk and Policy

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in product management, creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch while working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in risk management and policy enforcement.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working on eCommerce platforms/products.
- Experience in managing Machine Learning powered products.
- Experience working with a globally distributed, cross-functional team.
- Strong and articulate communicator with internal teams and external partners.

**About the job**:
In this role, you will keep this ecosystem safe by understanding industry trends and emerging trust and safety issues in the e-commerce space and designing product solutions to address them. You will work on solving problems to prevent, detect, identify, and resolve fraudulent activity while allowing for new merchants to thrive in our ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, analyze and understand what makes for a trustworthy shopping experience, use your creativity to implement your ideas in experiments, and measure your results with rigorous sampling and goals towards the product.
- Balance the onboarding of new merchants while maintaining our safety standards protecting shoppers and Google's reputation.
- Prioritize opportunities for impact, drive multiple experiments, and communicate results to cross functional stakeholders regularly.
- Partner closely with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
- Foster and facilitate timely decision-making across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams.
