**Your role**
- Are you able to navigate the complexity of large and multi asset-class derivative portfolios? Would you know how to identify promptly GWM derivative clients at risk and coordinate mitigation strategies involving client advisors, credit officers, and traders? Would you find working with some of UBS most sophisticated private clients exciting?
- We’re looking for a derivative credit manager in Zurich to:
- monitor our derivative portfolio on a real time basis
- assimilate, assess and articulate the credit risks across OTC derivative portfolios
- drive further the automation of our analytical processes by contributing to the development of in-house monitoring tools
- determine risk mitigation strategies for GWM clients with large derivative exposures and coordinating actions between Client Advisors and Credit Risk Control
- manage risk management interactions between IB and GWM

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Loan Portfolio Management team in Zurich. The team is responsible for managing within the 1st Line of Defense the credit risk of the GWM lending and derivative books. Our mission is to help UBS GWM businesses to grow by having a sustainable approach towards credit risks, both at portfolio and single transaction level. We achieve this by staying on top of GWM portfolio risks, promptly informing Client Advisors and Senior Management of any material changes and assisting in the workout of any problem credits as quickly and as efficiently as possible. As the 1st line of defense, the team’s responsibilities include the daily monitoring complex lending transactions to manage and pre-empt client shortfalls throughout the financial cycle. The team spans APAC and Switzerland.

**Your expertise**
- experience in a products focused role within investment banking or wealth management
- knowledge of derivative products, preferably across equities, fx, and rates asset classes
- data analysis experience, including solid programming skills (Python and SQL)
- strong numerical skills including university degree or equivalent in mathematics, engineering or related disciplines
- diligent, concise and accurate work style, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze market and credit risk
- collaborative team member with analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
