The Head Derivative Processing is responsible for ETD (exchange traded) and OTC (over the counter) derivatives processing and reports to the Department Head Securities that is part of the Banking Operations Sub. Besides ensuring the flawless operation of daily business processing, the transformation and continuous improvement of the function is a key focus.

Having the responsability for the team deliverables and goals he or she manages the workload accross the team. Active risk management and reporting are important duties of this role.

The in depth product know how enables the interaction with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the ongoing improvement of the services of the unit.

People development is a priority and fostering an environment of collaboration ensures the delivery of high standard services to the bank and its clients.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Responsible for overall team deliverables and goals performance
- Manage workload across the team (e.g. backlog, forward planning)
- Responsible for the risk controls
- Manage reporting and escalations
- Drive the creation of guidelines & policies and ensure adherence
- Assess and implement processes for new products or services
- Participate in important change initiatives
- Manage people implication of change, interact with other units at management level, focus on people development & management, operationalize changes within the team

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Banking apprenticeship and / or higher education in the area of banking / business administration
- Solid leadership skills and at least 5-7 years of experience in a Head function, ideally within Banking Operations(communication, act as role model, provide direction, active staff development and performance monitoring with good planning and delegation skills)
- Very good know how in exchange traded and OTC derivative products is a must
- Solid risk management skills maintaining an overview of risk management tasks and mitigation actions
- Experience in business transformation and change projects
- System know how in derivative tools is an advantage
- Fluent in German and English
