Supporting market participants in everything from Listing (for Equities, Fixed Income, ETFs/ETPs and structured products), Trading (across all instruments) and Post-Trade Services encompassing Clearing, Settlement Swiss & International Custody, and Asset Servicing.
Market Operations forms the heart of the Swiss Stock Exchange and SDX SIX Digital Exchange and ensures their business operations. As a competence center for listing, trading and reporting, it ensures fair and orderly trading at all times and guarantees impeccable customer, securities, clearing and settlement data along the value chain. Three service centers support our customers at the help desk with dedicated hotline numbers and service times. Market Operations also ensures the business continuity of SIX Swiss Exchange in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
SIX is searching for a highly qualified Head Market Operations to ensure the continued professional and state-of-the art running of the exchange's central and well reputed operation.
**What You Will Do**
- leading, directing and developing the Market Operations department with the 4 teams Exchange Operations, Member & CRM Services, Static Data Operations and Business Operations
- ensuring orderly, fair and transparent trading of our regulated markets
- ensuring a robust risk management and internal control system
- operationalizing projects and changes into production as well as configuration management
- representing Market Operations in SIX Group and exchange projects
**What You Bring**
- minimum 10 years of experience in securities trading and clearing/settlement (understanding of the whole value chain) in various asset classes (equities, bonds, funds, derivatives)
- proven leadership skills and experience in an international environment
- high resilience; willingness to work in a sometimes hectic environment
- fluent German and English language skills; French & Spanish would be an asset
