Product Owner Risk Analytics, Group Risk

As the Agile Product Owner you are responsible for the vision and outcome of the products, ongoing review and definition of priorities, specifically this includes

Prioritization, managing the backlog and delivery of analytics products by prioritizing the requirements from customers which includes central and local risk teams and Product Owner for GRC tool
Prioritization, managing the backlog and delivery of advanced analytics products by analyzing use cases from within the risk community in terms of benefit and effort and preparing for the quarterly decision board to define priorities

With your strong analytics background you also act as a key contact for data and analytics within the Risk Management community and build a training curriculum to upskill risk teams in the area of data literacy and obtaining data driven insights

This is an individual contributor role working in a wider agile development team within the area of Group Risk Transformation & Operations team.

**What you will do**
- Collaborate with users and customers to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
- Analyse the analytics landscape and build a product roadmap for analytics and advanced analytics tools
- Foster the use of best practices and state-of-the-art technology components (in alignment with Group Technology and Operations and other assurance functions)
- Design user stories and deploy solutions that provide data and insights in a maintainable, scalable, performant, and accurate way by bringing expertise from within the development team for data modelling, data analytics and advanced analytics (including machine learning)
- Provide advise to the development team to leverage machine learning and data science methods to provide data-driven risk insights and automation of processes

**What you bring**
- Minimum 10 years professional experience with a proven track record of designing and orchestrating the delivery of data and analytics products and solutions ideally in the field of risk management
- Passion for analytics with a strategic mind-set
- Background in insurance or risk management preferred
- Good communication and facilitation skills
- Strong background in project management and agile delivery
- Experience in bridging business requirements with technical solutions
- Strong team player with a passion for collaboration in a vertically integrated global function
- A combination of the following technical skills would be a strong advantage
- Experience in data visualization in at least one modern analytics platform (e.g. IBM Cognos Analytics, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau)
- Good understanding of machine learning concepts and the practical challenges and trade-offs inherent in data science and analytics projects. Python programming knowledge an advantage to act as a challenger and reviewer of solutions
- Experience in bringing data science models into a productive environment
- Understanding and demonstrable knowledge of data warehouse architecture
- Fluent in English
