Product Manager, Merchant On-boarding

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience as a product manager leading product delivery from inception to launch and maintenance
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with e-commerce
- Ability to “do detective work” to figure out problems and solutions
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external partners

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.
**Responsibilities**:
- Craft the direction and strategy for the on-boarding experience of retailers to Google.
- Analyze the on-boarding process for retailers, understand how successful which types of merchants are at the different steps, identify obstacles and opportunities for improvements.
- Evolve and optimize the on-boarding process and individual steps, improving success rates. Work closely with several Engineering teams, UX Designers, Data Scientists, and fellow Product Managers.
- Work closely with partner teams dedicated to individual on-boarding steps to share insights and ensure their contributions fit within the overall flow. Coordinate with other Google tools offering services to retailers to better connect Google services.
- Work with partner teams on third-party tools that integrate with our offering and allow retailers to onboard. Develop ways to re-engage and help users that may have gotten stuck in the on-boarding flow.
