Transformation Program Manager

EF Educational Tours is looking for a Zurich-based Transformation Program Manager to lead our large-scale technology replatforming effort across our Tours Operations domains, spanning both Land and Flights procurement and production. This role is a critical part of a team driving a 3rd party software implementation and integrations with our internally build systems. You will be responsible for leading the overall program planning of this extensive cross-functional initiative and managing a team of project managers leading individual streams. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with business stakeholders, internal product managers, software engineering teams, and external partners. This is an exciting role that will touch multiple businesses and functions and help shape how we approach change as we scale for the future. This is a newly created position and you will have oversight of a brand new team of transformation experts from the business.

**What you’ll do**:

- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, external resources and vendors to lead the implementation of transformation deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Lead a team of dedicated stream leads to drive smooth and effective implementation in their respective streams.
- Communicate Manage the project communication, ensuring the right people have the right information at the right time
- Change Management: Integrate change management best practices into project activities to foster engagement and ensure smooth and successful adoption
- Continuous development of detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, interdependencies, and resource allocation, in collaboration with product and engineering management and other functional leaders
- Manage the project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation and contingency plans
- Anticipate and discover cross-functional collaboration needs, bringing different functions and business unites together for an aligned path forward
- Manage the project closure, and ensure proper documentation, handover, and lessons learned

**Who you are**:

- You will have a bias for action, a sense of urgency, and attention to detail that builds trust and impact quickly across all teams that you work with
- 8+ years of proven experience as a project manager or program manager, overseeing complex projects with multiple independent work streams within the information technology sector. Preferably with experience in software implementations and integrations.
- 2+ years operating in a management role having multiple direct reports.
- A solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- A strong knowledge of project management and change-management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Experience with agile project management
- A certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, etc., is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, and take ownership and accountability of the project outcomes
- A passion for organizational growth and transformation
- Strong level of fluency in English, both written and spoken
