**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
Change Management / Release Manager

- All documentation and procedures associated with the running, support and maintenance of live systems.
- Any proposed change must be approved in the change management process. While change management makes the process happen, the decision authority is the Change Advisory Board (CAB), which generally is composed of people from other functions within the organization.
- The Global Change Manager chairs the Global Change Commitee with all Local Change Managers as members.

- Filtering changes
- Managing changes and the change process
- Chairing the CAB and the CAB/Emergency committee
- Reviewing and closing of Requests for Change (RFCs)
- Management reporting and providing management information
- Checks for deployment conflicts and in such cases initiates a conflict resolution process assesses the change impact and the risk level and encourages the requester to take appropriate measures to mitigate risk
- rovide process and guidelines for JB Release Management work practices to Change Requesters and Release Managers.
- Communication on Release related events, plans, deadlines and changes in scope for Release participants.
- Also providing CAB with Release and IT Maintenance initial scope and final Go/NoGo presentations and information requests.
- Provision of support and best practices in setting up and monitoring Release processes in other areas, such as IT Infrastructure.
- Overall responsibility to ensure that local levels of Release Management and Infrastructure Maintenance Management are compliant with Release practices including;
- Provision of signoffs,
- Standard look & feel for Sharepoints and communication,
- Common treatment of changes.
- Meeting goals, agendas and objectives.
- Input into deployment planning.

**YOUR PROFILE**:
The correct processing of the defined process and procedures.
- The analysis of the raised RfC inclusive the change classification and risk
- The approval or rejection of normal changes minor (quality gate 20).
- The preparation of the approval meetings with the IT production board for normal change significant and CAB for normal change major (quality gate 20).
- A rapid processing of the approval procedure for urgent normal change minor
- The execution of the e-Mail approval procedure for urgent normal change significant.
- The approval or rejection of the deployment of normal changes (quality gate 40)
- The evaluation of new or changed standard change models
- Periodical review of the defined and agreed change models
- The validation of the post implementation reviews (quality gate 50)
- The compilation and communication of the change management reports
- Release Management will work with Change Management to agree the changes within a release (also performing assessments on risk, conflict and scope of the changes with other changes in a Release)
- Update & communicate changes in scope (inclusions & withdrawals) during a release and the reasons why they are late or withdrawn to all stakeholders via Release Management Sharepoint, Weekly Status meetings (during System Test / UAT) and to CAB.

Prepare, report and present Release scope information, risks and high profile Projects to CAB. As well as preparing and presenting scope information, EOD status, signoff and test evidence status and overall statement of confidence at the CAB Go/NoGo meeting.
- Prepare and circulate IT Maintenance weekend scope and also Go/NoGo information to CAB.
- Escalation of issues and decision requests to eCAB/CAB.
- Advise all IT and Business Responsible for change signoff in a Release of their responsibility and of the deadline.
- Chair the weekly Release & Test Status meeting where all stakeholders can get information updates, including key Release Management messages, changes in process and notification of important dates for key activities within each Release.Communication (continued)
- Account for and report on the provision of signoff and test evidence for each of the changes in the Release.
- Prepare and coordinate the high level Production Deployment planning for each Release in conjunction with local Release Managers.
- Ensure all support is engaged for weekend tasks,
- Ensure timings and dependencies are clear and understood with all deployment participants.
- Prepare SMS service for each Release to enable interested parties to subscribe to information/status updates throughout the deployment.

- Preparing Release specific plans for milestone tracking and scope and change documentation lists.
