We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for our client, a market leader in their industry.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a procurement team, developing effective sourcing strategies, and managing suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and leading a team of buyers, fostering a collaborative work environment, and promoting their professional development.

Collaborating with relevant departments to develop sourcing strategies that ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and agreements, while continually seeking new cost reduction opportunities.

Monitoring the team's performance, evaluating results, and implementing corrective measures when necessary.

Implementing effective procurement procedures and continuously improving processes to optimize team performance.

Working closely with other departments, such as production, logistics, and quality, to ensure seamless coordination.

**Profile**:
Significant experience in procurement, preferably in an industrial setting.

Knowledge of diesel and gas engines, injection systems, hydraulic components, and pump transfer cases is a strong asset.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Excellent negotiation skills and supplier management.

Familiarity with best procurement practices and procurement-related software tools.

Ability to work in a demanding environment, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems quickly.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in English and German.
