**Position description and objectives**:
**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Strategic Purchasing and Outsourcing: Develop and implement strategies for purchasing raw materials and outsourcing non-core production activities to ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- ERP Management and Configuration: Oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of ERP systems to optimize production planning, inventory management, and overall operational efficiency.
- Manufacturing Scheduling and Forecasting: Develop accurate manufacturing schedules based on detailed forecasting models to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing inventory costs.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with legal regulations and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain product excellence.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets and control production costs through efficient resource allocation, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic vendor negotiations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Logistics to align production with market demands and drive product innovation.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean manufacturing principles and innovative technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

**Required qualification and skills**:
**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in production management, with a focus on strategic purchasing, ERP management, and manufacturing scheduling.
- Expertise in ERP and quality system implementation and optimization, with a solid understanding of manufacturing IT infrastructure and quality standards like ISO.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to forecast production needs and implement effective scheduling strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments and leading through influence.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to navigate the production floor, attend meetings in various locations and engage in hands-on management as needed.

**Work Environment**:

- This position is primarily based in RigiTech HQ but may require visits to suppliers, contractors, and other off-site locations as needed for strategic partnerships and oversight.

**Skills**:

- Highly organized, independent, and detail-oriented,
- Happy to take initiative and come up with their own ideas,
- Flexible to ever-changing demands of the startup environment,
- Comfortable working level of English and French (oral and written),
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
