**Group Procurement Manager**

You have a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in the field of supply chain, business administration, or logistics. You have 5 to 10 years’ proven working experience as a Procurement Manager. You have knowledge about sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
Experience in the food or hospitality industry is a plus. You are able to differentiate mass purchasing vs detailed purchasing. You have xxperience in using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, PeopleSoft, SAP, or equivalent), You are process oriented. You have strong oral communications skills to liaise and communicate with vendors, department, and budget owners. You have some talent in negotiation and networking. You have experience in collecting and analysing data. You speak French and English fluently. You are eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss Citizenship, Swiss Work permit, etc.).

As **Group Procurement Manager**, you will coordinate, control and optimise the group’s supply of products and services across its campuses and central operations. Your responsibilities include strategising to find cost-effective deals and suppliers.
The purpose is to optimise procurement expenses ensuring the best service delivered at the best Total Cost of Ownership so that the company can invest in growth.

Your main missions will be:

- Set up a Purchasing Department for the group and coordinate with campus and central stakeholders
- Define and ensure consistency of procurement strategy, including purchasing general terms and conditions for the group
- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies (recourse to central purchasing platforms)
- Review and optimize current processes, workflows and approval procedures, leveraging on existing tools
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services in alignment with business needs and budget targets
- Finalise purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Examine and test existing contracts
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Monitor KPIs and financial impacts closely coordinated with the finance department.
