Operational Procurement Manager (POM)
As an Operational Procurement Manager in the organizational unit Operational Procurement, you plan and source material & services from a defined portfolio of suppliers in accordance with existing contracts, in compliance with the procurement policy, customer-, technical-, legal
- and Aviation Authority requirements at economical favorable terms and conditions and within the required quality standards.
Your tasks
- Promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization
- Ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual
- Define and implement metrics and KPIs of procurement activities, incl. logistics
- Monitor & report on budget-/spend levels and supplier performance
- Handle discrepancies of the supplied material & services regarding quantity, quality and price
- Issue, track, trace and control all purchase orders in SAP with support of B2B tool where applicable
- Implement and maintain documentation about suppliers & vendors and obtain the appropriate quality documents
- Work on alternate solutions for material & services in order to meet SR Technics’ MRO activiti
- Plan and calculate forecasted material & services requirements economically to meet SR Technics’ MRO activities
- Ensure economic and efficient sourcing of material & services as per contractual-, technical-, customer-, and engineering specifications in compliance with authorities requirements
- Manage suppliers & vendors as per individual (contractual) scope and at the same time comply with company, regulatory, commercial and technical requirements
- Define and implement metrics for material & services handling and flow
- Ensure performance management of suppliers & vendors
- Handle discrepancies of the supplied material & services regarding quantity, quality and price
- Monitor and maintain material and supplier data in SAP
- Support projects within department as well as the Procurement organization
**Profile**:
- Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, finance / business studies preferred
- Background in Business Administration
- Professional experience in technical environment
- Experience in Aviation/MRO desired
- Professional experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Language skills: German Level B2, English C1
