You will be part of the European Business Controlling team in Zug, Switzerland and play a key role in reviewing and understanding the financial performance and supporting the entire organisation (from retail stores to senior management) with action-driven reporting and planning to drive and improve the business.
- Perform review and analysis of weekly, monthly
- and quarterly sales
- and financial figures with responsibility for the Retail channel. Track actuals, conduct root cause analysis of deviations and establish plans to meet the financial goals in close cooperation with regional business controllers and commercial management.
- Support in executing and producing reliable budgets and quarterly forecasts, including consolidation of regional plans. Assist and support the markets and regional functions during the entire budget and forecast process.
- In charge of performing in-depth financial analysis of commercial activities including scenario analysis, store profitability, sales promotion effectiveness and service KPI optimisation. Perform review and provide business recommendations on payback calculations for O&O retail projects for managements approval on where to invest/divest.
- Deliver financial input for decision making to management as well as relevant reports and analysis. Support, challenge and work closely with internal stakeholders on how to optimise the business and improve profitability of O&O retail stores.
- Develop and improve new and existing Retail reporting in Power BI with the key stakeholders being the European leadership team as well as Retail area managers across 25 markets covering 300+ O&O retail stores.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, dynamic and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, able to structure complex problems, summarise core findings and the capability to explain data and financial analysis.
- Strong system understanding and ability to keep overview of complex data structures. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP is an advantage.
- Natural curiosity and drive to identify ways to challenge the status quo and improve business.
- Experience in retail and consumer goods industry would be an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excelis a must. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP and Power BI are beneficial.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Control or Business Analyst positions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
