**Impact of this position**

The Controller is a newly created position to support business growth. The Controller will:

- Ensure the accounting team is stabilised and positioned to grow.
- Ensure stable and accurate back office support to the front office.
- Elevate Genioo's auditing standards, moving from a Limited Review to a Full Scope Audit, including Consolidated Financial statements.
- Serve as deputy Head of Accounting and Controller, allowing the CFO to shift focus from daily finance operations toward leading the function to increased performance and profitability.
- Enable the accounting team to be proactive and stay a step ahead of finance tasks rather than running behind.
- Take on process improvement projects beyond the daily routine, such as implementing the SFDC-Einstein module, automating P2P processes through the SFDC-Document management module, dedicating time to implementing the HR system, and other projects as needed.
- Be located in Zug to work side-by-side with the core accounting team.
- The Controller's work distribution will include:
- Recurring tasks

Monthly Revenue Recognition 10%
Forecasting / Budgeting 20%
Cost-Management accounting 10%
Review of reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, payroll, accruals) 10%
- Project tasks
Ad-hoc analyses, participate in projects, audit support, transfer pricing, cross-department corporation, etc. 30%

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**The role**

The Controller is a newly created role, based in Zug, to support Genioo's business growth. As the Controller/FP&A, you will form a core part of the finance team in strategic planning, budgeting, decision support, and financial modeling. You will support all internal functions in making better decisions by using historical data, forecasting performance, and running sensitivity analyses. Together with the CFO and the Head of Accounting, you will redesign and automate existing financial reporting. You will also support the Head of People in implementing an HR system (HRIS). You will collect, review, and challenge data for the monthly financial reporting deck, which the CFO presents quarterly to the CEO and Board of Directors. You will report directly to the CFO and closely collaborate with Accounting, Sales Operations, the People team, and the COO team.

- You get energy from working with numbers and financial models that help drive decisions. You are excited to support the process of forecasting, budgeting, and financial controlling.
- You will partner with the CFO, Head of Accounting, COO, Sales Ops, and Head of Sales and Delivery to enable them make decisions that are grounded in numbers. You will also act as deputy Head of Accounting when needed.
- You like to prepare and comment on consolidated financial statements (for 5 international entities), to maintain and align the Internal Control System and to provide general audit support.
- You will elevate Genioo's auditing standards, moving from a Limited Review to a Full Scope Audit, including Consolidated Financial Statements.
- You will review tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT, Stamp Duty, etc.), compliance with tax rulings, transfer pricing models, and reconciliation of tax assessments to tax filings.
- You will assist in the administration of employee stock option plans and prepare respective reports.
