- To complete the Finance & Controlling team we are looking for a

**Financial Controller / to start asap**:
**Department**

The Controlling and Reporting Department plays a pivotal role in mitigating risk, ensuring the accuracy of the Company's reported financial results and maintaining compliance of reported results with international financial reporting standards. The department’s responsibilities include supporting the production of periodic financial reports and budgets, maintenance of the Internal Control System, and ensuring accuracy of data within the ERP system.

**Key Responsibilities**

Internal Control:

- Perform controls and tests as detailed in the Internal Control System
- Maintenance of ICS documentation
- Assist Head of Controlling with implementation of ICS related developments and projects
- Carry out effective daily controls over disbursement and cost monitoring functions

Reporting:

- Provide daily, weekly and monthly management reports to management and sales divisions
- Prepare VAT reporting for multiple jurisdictions in Switzerland and the EU
- Coordinate VAT queries from the business with external tax consultants
- Prepare monthly management and financial reports for various departments
- Provide operating data to FP&A Manager for actuals reporting
- Active participation in monthly and quarterly accounting close procedures
- Upload and reconciliation of budget into consolidation software
- Provide support for annual budget campaign

General:

- Organisation and supervision of annual stock take, together with Head of Controlling
- Work with IT team to develop and implement SAP reporting and control improvements
- Ongoing development of reports and identification of automation opportunities

**Professional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or commercial school qualification or equivalent experience
- 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience in an international environment, preferably in the metals industry
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is essential, knowledge of Access and SAP ERP Financials is desirable
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking
- Excellent verbal and written command of English is essential. German is an advantage
- Strong communication skills to articulate clearly and concisely and numeral literacy are very important
- Knowledge of EU VAT regulations is desirable
