At PeakData we partner with healthcare companies to harness the power of AI to enhance commercial and medical effectiveness and improve customer experience.

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Financial Controller who gets excited by the challenge of helping to grow our business from 20 to over 100 employees over the next three years.

Since we are a fast-growing startup, this role will expose you to all phases of a company, from a small business up to the enterprise stage. We currently have 4 subsidiaries in different countries of the world, and you will - among other things - supervise the accounting of our subsidiaries/branches. This experience will be challenging, but if you’re the right person, the perspective of being exposed to the full spectrum of finance functions (global bookkeeping, payrolls, VAT, taxes, credit control, bank accounts, payments) will excite you and develop your skills like no other place. You will report to our CFO and will further develop your strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, recruit a book keeper reporting to you, and gain a unique insight into how artificial intelligence can make a real difference for patients to gain access to cutting edge treatments.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts and KPIs
- Supervision of annual accounts, liaison with bookkeepers and potentially auditors
- Supervision of accounting for subsidiaries/branches in Netherlands, USA, PL and UK
- Prepare, reconcile, and declare quarterly tax statements
- Reconcile salary and social security accounts
- Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll, invoicing and deferred revenue
- Responsibility for accounts payable and receivable
- Work closely with the CFO to support tasks such as budgeting, cash flow and management reporting

**Requirements**:
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant, or substantial experience in finance and/or accounting
- Familiarity with Swiss accounting standards and auditing, and awareness of IFRS/US GAAP
- Fluent in English (and preferably German)
- Affinity to tech, MS Excel skills
- Self-starter, positive attitude and ability to solve problems with mínimal supervision
- Results orientated with a high attention to detail and dedication towards quality and improvement
- High integrity, independent and individually motivated, team player
- Experience in a growth environment is a big plus
