For our Supply & Production department for High-Speed turbochargers, we are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement. In this position, you will lead all activities related to quality management and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence along the whole value chain. The main responsibilities include the development and implementation of an effective quality management strategy, as well as leading and supporting multiple continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, and reduce lead times and waste.

**Responsibilities**:

- Functional and disciplinary lead of the Quality and CI team of our Supply & Production department.
- Responsible for effective quality management with a focus on production and assembly.
- Develop and implement an adequate quality strategy to minimize the cost of poor quality and maximize first pass yield rate.
- Establish, monitor, and lead continuous improvement and quality programs in the High-Speed Division with a structured approach.
- Lead a “Robust Quality” initiative aiming at the introduction of continuous process capability monitoring and statistical tolerancing.
- Drive process improvements and continuous improvement mindset through coaching of Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Prepare process reviews together with process owner(s) ensuring proactive identification of significant improvement potential.
- Support internal quality and Lean Six Sigma trainings.
- Plan, execute, and support internal audits, ISO-Audits and customer audits.

Your background
- Solid education with a technical background.
- Track record in shop floor quality development and continuous improvement (3 to 5 years).
- Strong experience, expert knowledge, and certification in state-of-the-art methods and tools of quality & process management and lean management.
- Wide experience in the definition and implementation of effective quality planning and assurance processes.
- Convincing problem-solving skills and conceptual capability, proven by solving operational issues in complex organizations.
- Technical understanding of machining and assembly operations.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Experience in introducing statistical tolerancing, process, and machine capability monitoring, and statistical process control is a plus.
- SAQ Quality & Process Manager certification is a plus.
- High customer focus and independent work style.
- Fluent in German and English.
