Continuous Improvement Manager in Plant Operation

Your mission at Climeworks is to continuously improve the Climeworks DAC plant Orca and Mammoth in Iceland to produce > 30’000 t CDR. - You define and improve critical production metrics in the SQDCPME framework (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, and Environment). - You work OKR oriented and drive sustainable improvement of Orca and Mammoth Plants to ensure plant availability and CO2 / CDR production to secure the sales targets and to achieve the Climeworks Vision. - You maintain a safe and compliant plant operation (safety culture without compromises). - You drive and report plant operation KPIs and costs. - You plan, execute and report the ramp-ups and improvements of the Orca and Mammoth Plant. - You manage required processes and tools. - You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. - You have at least 10 years experience in plant operation or production, thereof at least 6 years in program management. - You also have gained knowledge in ramp-up and commercial plant operation incl. plant improvement. - You can program management track-records in the field of production improvement. - You have a proven, multi-year plant operation or production track-record. - You have a drive to stay on your key performance indicators and to achieve unprecedented performance in a scale-up venture. - You are a strong coordinator, communicator and collaborator. - You are a continuous, persistent and sustainable improver. - You are open to travel up to 50% of the time. - You are fluent in English.
