- Project Quality Assurance (QA) lead and “voice of Quality” for the Project reporting to the Project Director / Project Manager as part of the Project Core team
- Manages Quality Assurance on Projects by analysing customer contracts with regard to QM & QA requirements and identifies issues that require special attention during execution

**Operations & escalation**
- During project planning phase, prepares the Quality Control (QC) strategy, adapts the project quality plan (PQP) & baseline Quality Control Program (QCP)
- Defines project specific expediting levels for key suppliers / critical LOTs as part of the Project Execution Strategy (PES)
- Maintains the project-specific QCP together with Supplier Quality & Site Quality
- Sets up internal & external reporting, leveraging from standards and return of experience (REX)
- During project monitoring phase, manages the QCP, identifies & anticipates Quality risks and opportunities, develops the necessary project reporting structure, corrective actions & if necessary, escalation of Quality issues to the Project Director for review & resolution
- Reviews and formally approves / comments inspection & test plans (ITPs) & other manufacturing quality related documents
- Coordinates the planned Quality measures for the various delivery LOTs during production
- Project specific QA briefing of internal and external inspectors
- Coordinates together with the Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) the scheduling of inspectors (INS) according to QCP
- Accompanies the customer during customer inspections (witness points) at suppliers premises, with support from and in coordination with the SQM
- Reviews, verifies & comments on ITPs from suppliers / contractors for the various delivery LOTs
- Authority to issue instructions to suppliers in the event of deviations from standards
- Supports the induction & coordination of the Site Quality Manager (SiQM) at the construction site

- Ensures that Quality methods and tools are properly and uniformly implemented, providing the necessary visibility to the management functions, for all Quality-related aspects
- Supports continuous improvement & development of processes, standards, & tools
- Ensure that experience feedback is properly captured and used as input to Continuous Improvement

**Your experiences**:
**Job Specific Requirements**
- A minimum of 2 years Project or Project Quality experience
- Experienced in using standardized methods to identify & treat complex problems
- Willingness to work in the field, at the office and during business trips abroad
- Experience in the manufacture and assembly of welded constructions
- Supports the department to achieve Quality targets & goals

**Desirable expertise**:

- Industrial experience in the field of Quality Management (QM) / Quality Assurance (QA) applied during plant engineering, manufacturing, construction & commissioning
- Experience with the relevant harmonized standards, especially DIN EN 12952 and DIN EN 13480
- Welding engineer / welding specialist
- Experience in the relevant NDT procedures RT, MT, PT, VT and/or Level II or III certification in the procedures desirable
- Knowledge of relevant directives and standards that are relevant in plant construction (pressure parts is an advantage), experience in dealing with the relevant EU directives / regulations, especially PED 2014/68/EU and MRL 2006/42/EC

**Methodological Expertise**
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite
- Fluency & a good working knowledge of English (additional languages especially German an advantage)
