As the Business Line (BL) Global Operations Manager for Gearless Mill Drives (GMD), you will be responsible for managing the operations within the Process Industries BL and will be reporting to the BL Manager.

**This position reports to**:
Hub manager SAM

**Your responsibilities**:

- Leading the Operations function on the Business Line level and be accountable for achieving the operational business targets (including revenues, profitability, cash, net working capital, productivity, operational excellence, and safety)
- Ensuring that the operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments
- Driving the project execution and performance management through project reviews; driving the contracts and claims management and participating in the budgeting process
- The operation units within the BLs, i.e., Project management, Engineering, Quality, Factory and Supply chain management will have a functional reporting to you
- Ensuring that these functions are structures to best fit our business model and that they have the right capability, capacity, and footprint and that they are future ready in line with our growth and innovation strategies
- Coaching and guiding these teams to achieve our business targets, driving a culture of continuous improvement that includes implementing leading edge digital technologies into our operational workflows
- Driving the Safety performance and culture along with the BL HSE Manager

**Your background**:

- Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering/Business development
- 15+ years of experience in a relevant industry and/or function
- Proven track record in the field of execution of system projects and factory improvement initiatives
- High level of engagement and management experience with a strategic mindset, financial acumen, and a strong technical flair
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
- Good to have qualification: ABB Senior certified Project manager or Project Director or equivalent; Factory know-how
