The Front Risk Management (FRM) organisation is part of the 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) and sits within the division Client Strategy & Experience.

The Head FRM Advisory (FRMA) for Region Americas & Iberia (A&I) supports the frontline, especially the Region Head and the Market Heads in the management and control of risks throughout the client lifecycle. The FRM Advisory A&I acts as first point of contact for all risk-related questions, provides support tailored to Regional, Market and Local regulatory requirements as well as business needs, in close collaboration with the Head FRMA (H FRMA), Head FRM Advisory of other Regions, other FRMAs and the 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD).

The Head FRMA A&I is an experienced and team-oriented 1LoD risk expert. He/she will have expertise in risk management / compliance, strong communication skills and the ability to forge relationships with Front Management and 2LoD stakeholders.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
**Risk Management**
- Acts as sparring partner to the Front Management (Region Head, Market Head, Group Heads and Front Team Heads) and provides solution-oriented support in front-risk topics related to the whole client/business relationship lifecycle
- Prepares the Regional and Market Risk Reporting, co-chairs the Regional Risk Committee and participates in other Market risk sessions
- Identifies awareness/training needs based on risk reports / control results findings, prepares and contributes to risk training and awareness campaigns content and supports communication within the frontline, defines and monitors risk mitigating measures
- Participates and supports in projects carried out within the Region (provides risk related advice, conducts reviews)
- Ensures that front related issues as identified by 2LoD, internal/external audit and regulators are remediated in a timely and sustainable manner
- Follows-up with Front Office on overdue items or escalation of 1LoD recurring tasks and controls, monitors risks, manages incidents and remediation measures/projects
- Identify and anticipate business and conduct risks

**People Management**
- Managing a small team of people in their day-to-day work and achievement of their objectives
- Manage performance and conduct of team members, fostering an environment and culture of collaboration and communication

**Interaction with Stakeholders**
- Ensures direct and effective support of the RH, MHs, GHs, FTHs, Regional CS&E Units (e.g. Business Management)
- Ensures close and systematic collaboration/information flow between the 1LoD and the 2LoD. Close collaboration with the Region and Markets Business Management team is a key aspect with respect to the delineation of roles and transparency on tasks
- Coordinates closely with other FRM teams and interacts closely with various internal stakeholders (e.g. Compliance, Legal, IWMS, Internal Controlling etc.)

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Professional and convincing communication skills with stakeholders in various roles and functions
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of flexibility and adaptability to changes
- Ability to work on own initiative, willing to take on responsibility, oversee complexity and work under high pressure
- Decisive, well organized, proactive and act with care and assertiveness
- Experience and/or pre-knowledge in the Americas & Iberia Region would be a plus
- Proficient in English/French; and German would be preferred, Spanish/Portuguese languages would be a plus
- University degree or equivalent education in Banking, Compliance, Law, Risk Management or Business Administration
- At least 7 years of professional experience in Front Risk Management, Business Management, Compliance, Legal or Audit
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint skills
