The product communications manager will be part of the robotics product communications team and will have the role to translate the product value propositions into compelling messages and stories that positions ABB robotics as the leader in robotics automation. This is a temporary position for one year covering a maternity leave.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Work closely with product management to generate creative communication assets to positions ABB robotics as the leader in robotics automation
- Support the marketing team with compelling content for demand generation campaigns
- Act as a translator, transforming technological features into reader-friendly benefits and unique selling points, helping to position us against competitors
- Develop strong product communication launch plans to reach the agreed KPIs and target groups
- Execute according to communication plan and produce together with the content team, thought leadership pieces, social media, online content, and content for trade shows & events
- Working with external communication team, communicate the content through new and existing channels, including media, press, social media, etc.
- Work with Communications leads in countries to ensure sharing of content and execution of in-country communications plan to support positioning and growth in country.
- Working with Internal Communications to plan and ensures the offering is known to all employees and that each understand what is required of them for success.
- Proactively find and drive new ways of promoting and positioning the robotics offering
**Your background**:
- Approx. 5 years of experience in product communications or product marketing for B2B technologies
- Near native English or professional proficiency, excellent spoken and written editorial skills.
- Good technical understanding and interest in learning about new technologies
- Experience in a highly matrixed organization and in coordinating with and working across geographies.
- Practice in building and collaborating with formal and informal networks at all levels of an organization.
- Strong business acumen, expected to develop a deep and sophisticated understanding of the business, the portfolio, trends and key decision makers/influencers, as well as an understanding of the key drivers for success.
- Intercultural sensitivity and experienced in cross-functional, international collaboration and building strong personal networks
- Action-oriented, strong attention to detail, able to take ownership of large and complex projects and see them through to completion with a high standard of excellence
- Positive and passionate personality, with a strong drive to challenge the status quo and continuously improve things
