At ECOFACT, we provide our clients with the knowledge required to navigate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities. We work primarily for banks, insurers, institutional investors, and international standard-setters. By combining market-leading research with unique advisory experience, we strive to be a catalyst in the transition towards a sustainable economy. We help clients to understand regulatory developments pertaining to sustainable finance and corporate responsibility, and assist them in building ESG risk frameworks, as well as offering due diligence and risk management solutions. Founded in 1998 as a spin-off from a leading Swiss bank, ECOFACT is a fully independent firm based in Zurich.

We are looking for a Sustainable Finance & ESG Consultant to join our team of legal, regulatory & ESG experts in Zurich as soon as possible.

Tasks

As a Sustainable Finance & ESG Consultant, you will be responsible for a variety of the below (depending on your experience and strengths):

- lead and/or support on regulatory advisory projects together with our team of legal and regulatory experts;
- contribute to ECOFACT’s research of regulatory developments pertaining to sustainable finance and corporate responsibility;
- lead and participate in client meetings, conferences, and webinars;
- contribute to ECOFACT’s marketing content, including summarizing key regulatory developments;
- assist the Client Solutions team in continuing to develop ECOFACT’s services, products, and compelling offers and proposals; and
- identify market trends, client needs, and new business opportunities in the financial market.

**Requirements**:
**You are**:

- fluent in German (C2 - spoken and written) and English (C1 - spoken and written);
- experienced in the legal aspects of sustainable finance, human rights, and corporate responsibility; and
- enjoy working as part of a team.

**Must haves**:

- the ability to translate our legal research into practical actions by demonstrating their implications to our clients;
- strong organizational and communication skills;
- the ability to take the initiative, work independently and manage priorities;
- an excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite; and
- a valid Swiss work permit or EU citizenship.

**Extra points if you have/are**:

- experience in consulting or project management;
- advanced studies (university or university of applied sciences) in sustainability, law, economics, and/or business;
- comfortable leading client meetings and giving presentations;
- strong document drafting skills;
- extensive experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint; and
- proficient in other languages, such as French and Spanish.
