Head of Finance

We are looking for a Head of Finance to supervise all financial tasks of our company and ensure we use capital and resources beneficially. Head of Finance responsibilities include financial management, reporting and analysis. To be successful in this role, you should have experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams.

**Your responsibilities**

**Financial management**:

- Budgeting;
- Liquidity planning and management;
- Managing company accounts;
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions;
- Supervising expense policy;
- Implementing & supervising efficient dunning process;
- Supervising and managing bookkeeping;
- Inventory management: analysis and control;
- Management of insurances, related optimizations and optimal cost efficient risk management;
- Hedging and FOREX transactions;
- Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice;
- Intercompany pricing, accounting and loans;
- Intercompany dividends and royalties payments;
- Tax-optimization structures for future growth;
- Contracting in regards to financial KPIs;
- Managing the external auditor relationship;
- Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information;
- Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing;
- Presenting results to non-finance people to understand;
- Reviewing all formal finance related policies and procedure;
- Cost management and reduction in general;
- Evaluate most suitable financial systems and oversee introduction of new systems and policies.

**Reporting & Analysis**:

- Managing the financial reporting for the organisation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting;
- Presentation of financial results and insights to the Board;
- Financial analysis, P&L, BS and Cash Flow: Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the management team to make critical business decisions;
- Play a key role in the formulation of the business's strategy in regards to financial KPIs;
- Investment appraisal and analysis;
- Overseeing commercial decision making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis etc.;
- Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations to the management team.

**Your profile**
- Proven work experience in finance department, audit and accounting or similar role;
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping;
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management;
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models;
- Proficiency in accounting software;
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills;
- Leadership abilities;
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;
- MSc/MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
