Regional Indirect Tax Compliance Manager

**What's the role?**:
As a Regional Indirect Tax Compliance Manager, you will be managing and supporting various indirect tax related compliance tasks for Hilti organizations in Europe. You will be doing so, inter alia, by assisting Hilti’s Global Tax department with the implementation and deployment of a new group-wide tax technology analytics tool. You will also leverage your proven tax process and technology expertise to work independently with various other stakeholders.

**What does the role involve?**:
This role is all about wide-ranging indirect tax compliance and all the interesting aspects around it, including cooperating with a multitude of different stakeholders in different functions. In a rapidly evolving environment where digitization is key, this role also includes your active participation and cooperation with the Global Tax department with the implementation and the subsequent deployment of a new tax technology analytics solution. After the successful roll-out of this solution in all relevant European organizations, you will assess the findings resulting from the various analytics checks and subsequently coordinate, support and monitor, on an operational level, the required follow-up tasks, where needed, with the shared service centres and local organizations.
Moreover, in case of regulatory changes in the field of indirect taxes or in the case of changes to the Hilti business model and/or supply chain, you will ensure on an operational level indirect tax compliant processes across all impacted Hilti organizations by cooperating with other relevant stakeholders such as IT, Finance, Global Logistics, etc. For this challenging role, we count on you to continuously upskill yourself in all relevant areas.

**What you need is**:

- Higher education in tax, finance / accounting or project management
- Excellent finance, supply chain and market reach knowledge or at least very strong interest in these areas (practical experience with a multinational industrial company a plus)
- Good process and technical knowledge with regards to the tax set-up in SAP S/4HANA and the usage of tax analytics tools
- Capability and willingness to analyse complex cross-functional context and to convey target group suitable solutions
- Good understanding of the Hilti business model or the business model of another large multinational enterprise a plus
- Fluency in English (additional language skills, particularly in German a plus)
