Global Segment Manager Automotive for The E&i

**What's the role?**:
As a Global Segment Manager, you will play a key role and lead the global Automotive business for Hilti. Ensure develop both our Market Reach, and Product Offering, are set up to bring added value to the market and continue the growth of the business. Working with the market and global teams, to ensure best levels of account engagement and project execution. Capable to expand the business into new geographies or segments and be part of the global E&I team.

**What does the role involve?**:
In this role you will have global impact in driving and implement the execution of the Automotive strategy in define regions, you are considered the business owner of your segment. You will work closely with local /regional market organizations to define business opportunities and prioritize according to the global strategy You will drive Account Engagement, and steering the Global/Regional business developers, securing a professionalize project management execution, lead the implementation in key markets with regional segments and sales teams and drive innovation inside of the automotive segment with clear understanding of the customers’ needs and value proposition of the Hilti solutions for the Automotive industry

**What you need is**:

- University degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering or Mining Degree), MBA preferred,
- With more than 8 years working experience in Automotive Industry; ideally with experience in Production Management, Design & Engineering, Construction Plant Projects, Project Management realted with the segment.
- Strong business acumen and customer orientation
- Strong team collaboration capability and ability to work within a matrix organization
- Willingness to travel internationally for business and International mobility in the long term is preferable
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Fluency in two languages: English and German
- Mobility for a subsequent development
