Our business is developing on three portfolio pillars:
- Cabin Connectivity Services (primary focus of this position)
- Cockpit, Pilots, Flight and Air traffic Control (ATC) operations and;
- Aircraft Applications and Data Management.
In the Cabin Connectivity Services, SITA for Aircraft has brought to market a leading portfolio of In-Flight connectivity products and services offered to airlines and their passengers. Those solutions are enabled by our capacity to use various satellite connectivity technologies and over multiple OEM Satcoms and on-board transmission platforms.
In the context of an evolving cabin portfolio and market context, SITA for Aircraft is looking for a Pricing Specialist to support our Cabin Connectivity Services Portfolio activities.
As** **Pricing Specialist**, you will lead the pricing approach, especially for the satellite usage, services and hardware components, support the portfolio strategy, conduct data analyses, measure the business performance, and support the Sales activities.
**What you will do**:
- Reporting to the Head of Product And Commercial Empowerment Team you will be a part of the SITA FOR AIRCRAFT Strategy, Product & Marketing Organization, evolving in an International environment.
- You will have a dotted-line to the Cabin Connectivity Services Portfolio Head.
- You will work in close collaboration with the Product Management team as well as the Commercial, Finance, Legal, Billing and Bid Management Teams.
- While the initial and main focus will be on the Cabin Connectivity Services, overtime, the mission could evolve, and you could develop knowledge and experience by supporting other Product Portfolios.
- Drive the definition of the pricing strategy while considering market positioning, supply costs, traffic forecast and the Portfolio financial targets
- Develop pricing schemes and specifications for a given set of products or territory, including pricing structure, pricing levels, pricing unit, rating keys, periodicity
- Drive the implementation of new pricing schemes and evolution of existing ones
- Support cost negotiations with suppliers, by assessing and mitigating impact on pricing scheme and portfolio profitability
- Review customer base profitability, traffic profile, report and make relevant price recommendations to decision-makers
- Support to the Commercial, Bid and Product teams in analysing large bid opportunities; and developing profitable bid pricing for standard and non-standard proposals
- Develop and maintain the Pricing tools available to the internal users - ready for use as part of the sales, product development or budget forecast processes
- Liaise with the Billing team to provide pricing data and ensure implementation of the pricing decisions
- Contribute to other Pricing related tasks as needed, e.g., Defining and implementing a particular incentive program for a given period in collaboration with the Sales, Product, and Finance teams.
- Support the portfolio strategy to build sustainable growth, revenue and margins
- Support the definition and execution of the 3 and 5 year-plan as well as yearly operating plan.
- While the P&L of the Cabin Connectivity Services Portfolio is owned by the Head of the Portfolio (Product Team), the Pricing Specialist will greatly contribute to making it profitable and measuring its success by:
- Defining and monitoring relevant KPIs
- Providing input for the Cabin P&L and KPIs for the reforecast, budget and business plan
- Measuring actuals against targets and propose gap mitigation plans.
**Qualifications**:
**Who you are**:
- University Degree in Finance, Business administration fields or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years work experience in a pricing/business finance environment preferably within in a medium to large international company
- Experience in supporting Sales campaigns
- Experience in Project Management is a plus
- Proven experience in pricing management
- Knowledge in Product Management
- Knowledge of the IT & Air Transport Industries, Telecommunication is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills able to model financial scenarios and deliver recommendations
- Ability to understand and capture product value propositions into relevant pricing approaches
- Ability to innovate and deliver value to business at multiple levels
- Ability to operate in a virtual, multicultural and matrix environment
