**About the role**:
The Head of Business Line Connectivity Europe is responsible for the European performance of the Connectivity Business Line (revenue, margin) by leading a community of Business Line focused sales & pre-sales profiles across Europe and building a strong interlock with customers, Account Managers, central domains, partners,
The Connectivity Business Line is focused on growing business related to Orange’s Secure Digital Network Transformation value proposition.
The current Connectivity Business Line in Europe consists of 6 dedicated regional specialists reporting directly to the Head of Business Line and 60 to 70 specialists reporting into the country cluster organizations.
- Strategic insights : Inspire customer’s CDO/CTO and business owners through visionary conversations (leveraging experience/knowledge across Europe/global) together with account/bid team:
- Define and adapt the customer value proposition (between customer/market needs, marketing & domains)
- Enable the Sales Specialists in the country (knowledge sharing, re-usable content, training, sounding board) to allow specialists to be autonomous and self-sufficient
- Thought leadership on how to engage and win from a Business Line standpoint
- Contribute on large opportunities for largest/most strategic deals
- Ensure coherence with other domains
- Create and maintain strong interlock with primary domain
Business outcomes : this role embeds strong vertical customer centricity and astute system integration know-how in order to drive accelerated business outcomes for customers and establish Orange Business Services with renewed market shares and customer recognition as a digital services leader
- Skills : Create re-usable & pertinent blueprints for business line
- Pro-actively (market evolution / anticipation of trends)
- Re-actively (in support of major deals shaping our go to market)
- Follow-up on all commitments made from a technical /blueprint perspective towards the organization/partner, act as authority on pre-sales specialists escalations.
- Drive the internal organization and partners to adapt when and where it makes sense with a business view (does that makes sense for the customer?)
Ecosystem play : this role implies strong bonds with central domains and solution teams and aims at leveraging relevant value propositions, best practices and success drivers together with strong collaboration with sales and pre-sales, GCPE and CS&O, directly contributing to the sale and the implementation of MSI deals and integrated solutions in the region but also the extensive ecosystem of internal and external partners.
P&L : Protect OBS margin and drive market price knowledge and behaviour. Lighthouse on market price competitiveness (data driven). Advice, train and inform internal teams and executives on critical approvals. Support bid teams by creating pricing/costing for solutions where current pricing tools are not adequate. Support in review and optimization of large & strategic deal pricing

**Knowledge and abilities**
Extensive proven experience of running a business unit and P&L
Proven experienced Business Unit Manager
Proven experience running and Developing Pre-Sales Activity
Proven experience in assisting on first time implementations
Strong People Manager & influencer of stakeholders
Excellent communicator at management decision making level
Proven track record in customer facing activities
Visionary for taking Orange to new areas in its market place
Requirement for strong business management skills and experience.
