**About the role**:
As a member of the Commercial Quality LT, in this role you will be providing regional leadership and guidance to LOC/Commercial Quality within Europe and Canada.
**How you will contribute**:
- Functional lead of an External Supply Team: External Quality, Supply planners, Technical Operations, Artwork, Procurement.
- Manage Operations with Small Molecules & Oncology CMOs: build governance, build relationship with CMO stakeholders, manage daily operations with the External Supply Team.
- Make decisions to ensure on time in full market supply with GMP compliant product in line with regulatory and economical requirements.
- Ensure adherence of contractual obligations by both Takeda and the CMO.
- KPIs. Accountable to build, maintain and meet KPI targets: On Time In Full; Inventories (APIs, Bulk, Finished Goods); Supply Chain Responsiveness; Customer Service Level; Minimize Inventory variances and write-offs
- Can supervise internal & external stakeholders in daily operations to drive change management, change control and deviation resolution.
- Identify KPI root causes for misses & drive corrective actions
**What you bring to Takeda**:
- Master degree in life science, business, industrial engineering. MBA a plus.
- 7-10 years minimum in Manufacturing/Supply Chain in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry with CMO management experience. Experience in a Production Site a plus.
- Experience in leading international & interdisciplinary teams in matrix organizations. Able to make quick and thorough decisions with the support of the team.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate win/win solutions across organizations, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Cultural awareness: able to build strong internal and external relationships in an international environment.
- Good Project Management skills. Green Belt/Black belt a plus.
- Sound knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- ERP experience including SAP-APO.
- APICS certification (or equivalent).
