**Role & Responsibilities**:
The Employee Relations & Labor Relations (ER/LR) Manager, Switzerland has overall responsibility for leading the delivery of Employee Relations and Labor Relations Services for designated workforce groups within Switzerland.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effectively manage Employee Relations matters such as low performance, grievances, and discipline and employment law expertise in their perimeter
- Manage Labor Relations in partnership with the Businesses such as CBA administration and negotiation, employee representatives’ meetings, labor relations procedures, etc.
- Provide overall labor relations support throughout the collective bargaining process
- Drive proactive initiatives to increase ER/LR awareness with managers & employees and support any ad hoc workforce events such as M&A, Divestitures, etc. that require ER or LR involvement
- Operate as a steward for the company by escalating matters of concern as necessary to ensure that the interest of the company is protected
- Manage assigned cases to ensure the proper resolution of service requests within defined time periods, levels of accuracy, quality standards, and customer satisfaction levels
- Adhere to established standards and guidelines
- Lead a team that provides services in a timely manner, treats the workforce respectfully, and maintains high levels of confidentiality, trust, and integrity in the handling of sensitive matters
- Foster a culture of rigorous adherence to standards, process excellence, and continuous improvement

Travel will be required approximately 30% of the time.

**Qualifications** Required**:

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years of HR experience with a concentration in Employee Relations and Labor Relations
- Expertise in Employment and Labor Relations regulations & practices
- Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
- Experience managing, planning, and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives
- Knowledge of organizational design
- Knowledge of third-party vendors’ management
- Experience in industrial labor relations and direct management of complex negotiations and sensitive issues
- Identified specific expertise on at least one given topic belonging to the ER/LR domain
- Detail-oriented (especially regarding effectively managing employee relations issues and investigations)
- Influence leadership skills, in an indirect, matrix-based, and virtual environment
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment

**Preferred**:

- Advanced degree in a business field, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a Law Degree
