The securities finance sales & stock trader EMEA will be responsible for growing and expanding the client-oriented securities finance product: by liaising with sales representatives in attracting prospect clients, nurture clients with an outspoken need for securities financing services, increase breadth and depth of products offered, grow pairing and facilitation of short sales, steer and accelerate the expansion of the yield enhancement programs of European clients and prospects. The Securities Finance Sales & Stock Trader EMEA will be reporting to the Head of Securities Financing EMEA & APAC. **Job Description & Responsibilities**: - Direct liaising with in-house clients to support and facilitate securities financing needs - Grow the in-house stock yield enhancement programs - Grow client base in relation to notional long/short balances - Support sales representatives surrounding the securities finance product - Constantly evaluate systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements - Borrowing & Lending of stock across the EMEA constituencies - Support the head of securities financing EMEA in project related work **Qualification & Skills**: - Solid academic background (minimum Bachelor's degree) showing strong knowledge in Mathematics, Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics and Business - High degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology, and understanding of how technology is applied to business or an ability to develop this rapidly - Ground level knowledge base or experience in securities financing is required (junior/entry level) - Excellent English skills are required (mother tongue preferred) - German and other EU languages are a plus - Logical approach to problem solving - Detail oriented with solid quantitative skills - Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks - Self-motivated and energetic - Professional demeanor with proficient communication and presentation skills - Intermediate to high level of proficiency in MS-Excel - Ability to work in a small-team environment with a servicing attitude **Company Overview**: Interactive Brokers ("IBKR"), a subsidiary of publicly-traded Interactive Brokers Group, Inc., based in Greenwich, Connecticut (NASDAQ: IBKR) is a low-cost provider of trade execution and clearing services for active traders, institutional investors, financial advisors and introducing brokers.
