As a Windows Endpoint Technical Lead, you will be responsible to lead the team from technology stand point to develop and align with the technology roadmap for managing Windows Endpoint devices for ABB’s end users worldwide. You will coordinate and supervise internal and external 3rd party supplier resources for the effective delivery and operational performance of the endpoint services, ensuring its continuous improvement and compliance. Endpoint services include end user software distribution, patch management, App store, OS imaging and update, device enrollment and provisioning, and configuration policies. This role reports to the Windows Endpoint Operations Manager in Global End User Software Services. **This position reports to**: IS Service Owner **Your responsibilities**: - Key contributor to the global transformation towards modern endpoint management. - Key contributor on the design and implementation of OS and software deployment and configuration strategies, as from an on-premises environment to a hybrid on-premises and cloud-based enterprise. - Participate in PoC and Projects to review new technology and toolset and possibility to introduce changes required for better consumer experience. - Collaborate with the service owner and the architecture team to develop technology roadmap for Windows clients (physical or virtual). - Raise endpoint management improvement requirements and ensures they are implemented with high quality. - Possibility to coordinate and collaborate with cross-services including network, hosting, identity and access management and software distribution services to elevate the endpoint services and provide better solution as per business requirements and better end user experience. - Verifies the user experience of endpoint management services, and continuously registers and implement changes to improve it. - Keep up with the technology changes and advanced toolset to provide state of the art solution. - Provide direction and mentoring to the support partner and ABB teams on operational excellence using modern technology and toolset on MDM platform. **Your background**: - Strong education in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in the relevant service area are required. - Experience in IS risk, security, and compliance. - Advanced usage Reporting analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a nice to have. - Advanced scripting knowledge is a nice to have. - In-depth knowledge of converting business demand into effective technical solution. - Expertise in Unified Endpoint Management Tools (Microsoft Intune) and Identity Management (Azure AD) is a must. - Expertise in migrating workload from on-premises to cloud platform. - Expertise in designing/building configurations based out of OEM recommendations, Industrial best practices, and business needs. - Proactive in Continual Service Improvement, always open to adopt new and innovative IS techniques and technologies. - Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables. - Demonstrate ability to manage supplier, vendor, OEM to build an effective solution to match business requirements - Microsoft Azure certifications is preferred. - Fluent spoken and written English. **More about us**:
